On this page you will find a gallery of works I’ve produced mainly in the last few years. What you will see is work that draws upon the traditions of my ancestors. As such, my Koori themed art is based in the traditions of South Eastern Australia. When most people think about Aboriginal art, they think about ‘dot paintings’, however whilst dots are found in the artistic traditions of S.E Australia, ours are far more commonly built on geometry (diamonds, X’s, chevrons, zig-zags, and concentric lines). Our works also traditionally feature depictions of people, animals, maps of Country, and stories. For more, here’s an article I wrote for KooriHistory.com that explains some of the diversity found in Aboriginal art across the continent of Australia.
If you’re looking for examples of my art applied to sporting apparel, here’s where you’ll find them.
