This project was a lot of fun. It meant revisiting Tiddalik the Frog, a story I first adapted into my art as a children’s theatre show in 2011. At that time there were over 20 versions of the story in print, and it’s a Creation Story that I had grown up with, and loved. However, none of the versions I had encountered were written by an Aboriginal author, nor were they illustrated by someone whose culture included Tiddalik among their stories. So having an opportunity to once again tell this beautiful story, and this time as a story trail in a children’s garden, is something I am very glad to have had an opportunity to have done.

The installation is at Lakemba Children’s Centre, in Western Sydney AU.
